Made In India Product Shopping (“the app”) is an Android catalogue of
Indian and foreign products, published as com.dip.madeinindia. This policy explains what
we do and do not hold about you, what the advertising software in the app may collect, and how to
contact us.
We run no backend and you have no account with us, so we hold no personal information about you and have no way to obtain any.
The app does show ads (Google AdMob). That service is operated by Google, not by us. We do not sell your information.
Nothing. We operate no server that the app reports to, there is no sign-up, and we do not ask you for your name, your email address, your phone number or your location.
Anything the app remembers between launches — such as which categories you last looked at — is stored in the app’s private storage on your own device. Other apps cannot read it, and uninstalling the app deletes it.
The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google may use an advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and network information, and your interaction with ads, as described in Google’s advertising privacy policy.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of personalised advertising, from the ads controls in your Android settings. Where Google requires a consent prompt for personalised ads, including in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, that prompt is shown by Google’s own software rather than by us.
Because the ads are served by Google, we do not choose which ads you see and we do not receive the data Google uses to choose them.
The brand and product lists are editorial content compiled for comparison. They are not advertisements, no company pays to appear in them, and tapping an entry does not tell us anything. The lists may be incomplete or out of date, and a brand’s country of origin can change with ownership, so treat the app as a starting point rather than a legal statement about any company.
The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
